No digging is required. Using a specialist cutter, the roots are cleared and the drain repair can be made to the pipe without excavation.
The patch is a fabric segment that is impregnated with epoxy resin. This is fed into the pipe on an inflatable device that is fed into the drain.
Once it reaches the broken section of the drain it is then inflated and held in place until the patch cures. The machine is removed to leave a smooth, watertight and permanent drain repair.
