Alternative Drainage sets the standard for drainage services in Brighouse
Alternative Drainage having been providing drainage services to the homes and businesses of Brighouse for over 20 years. Our Brighouse Drainage Engineers work daily unblocking household and commercial drains throughout the Brighouse and surrounding area. As a result our engineers understand the Brighouse Drain Systems, and we understand the needs of the local people.
We have undertaken many projects throughout the Brighouse and surrounding areas including Bailiff Bridge, Rastrick, Clifton and Hipperholme areas. Brighouse is a town within the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale, in West Yorkshire with a population of around 32,000. It is situated on the River Calder, 4 miles east of Halifax. It is served by Junction 25 of the M62 motorway and Brighouse railway station. In the town centre is a mooring basin on the Calder and Hebble Navigation. The excellent rail links and close proximity to the M62 motorway make Brighouse a desirable commuter town for West Yorkshire’s major towns and cities including Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and Wakefield.
Since it was established in 1989 Alternative Drainage has setting the standard for drainage services in Huddersfield and the surrounding areas including, Longwood, Almondbury, Aspley, Quarmby, Waterloo, Bradley, Fenay Bridge, Dalton, Milnsbridge, Moldgreen, Newsome, Birkby, Fixby, Linthwaite, Slaithwaite, Crosland Moor, South Crosland, Honley, Holmfirth, Shelley, Shepley, Kirkburton, Denby Dale, Skelmanthorpe, Lower Cumberworth, Upper Cumberworth, Emley, Clayton West, Flockton, Lepton, Stainland., Brighouse, Elland, Ravenshorpe & Mirfield.

Whilst I suspected the problem was caused by a blocked drain, I wasn’t 100% sure so I went online and searched for Drainage Brighouse. I clicked on the Alternative Drainage website and saw that they had provided services to other pubs, like the Bulls Head in Horbury so I gave them a call. With it being a Sunday I expected either nobody to answer, or if they did it would cost an arm and a leg to call out an engineer. I was wrong on both accounts, as Alternative sent one of their Brighouse Drain Engineers within the hour. Using specialist pump out drain equipment, the engineer cleared the water within two hours, just in time for the pub to open. I couldn’t thank Alternative more for reacting so quickly and responding to my urgent need.”
