Wakefield District Housing receive Drain Repair Project

Recently Alternative Drainage were given the chance to complete a drain repair and remedial works job for Wakefield District Housing (WDH). They are a housing agency local to the area who dedicate themselves to providing accessible and affordable housing for a diverse range of tenants, in addition to boasting a just as diverse team of staff.

Our task took us to the Springhill site just off Potovens Lane in Outwood. Our technicians carried out a range of tasks that included 39 jet washes, 55 patch repairs, and to re-CCTV survey these sites once cleared.

The purpose of the jet washes was to remove debris from the pipes, and the patch repairs to remedy specific areas of the pipes on the site. In addition to this, we flail washed some of the drains to remove heavy scale from the pipe walls.

This was one of our bigger jobs that required lots of hard work from our dedicated team to repair the drains at Potovens Lane; without their expertise, the project would have been even more difficult.

We look forward to future projects in which our engineers can showcase their determination. WDH were very pleased with the job we carried out for them, which is testament to the dedication and commitment of our mechanics at Alternative Drainage.

We are able to offer drain repairs of this standard to properties operating within other sectors too; these could include the industrial, retail, orĀ utilities sector.
